Hello!

I wanted to let you know who I am, tell you a little about myself.

I think it is very important, certainly as the internet becomes more widespread and accepted as a business medium, that people know who they are dealing with and that behind it all there is actually a real person, not just a faceless website that can’t be contacted.

So, as you know my name is Rik.  I was born and currently live on the Isle of Man, which is a relatively small island in the middle of the Irish Sea.  Basically the geogpraphical centre of the British Isles.

I haven’t always lived here though.  Apart from England where I went to Nottingham after school to study Business, I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Australia, Spain and most recently Mauritius.  In fact my wife and I only returned to the Isle of Man from Mauritius a couple of months ago.

I love expanding my knowledge, particularly “online” knowledge. Learning about new online technolgies that can increase our productivity, increase our ability to succeed and in turn to able to pass that on to and help  others.  I believe Knowledge is Power, but more importantly Applied Knowledge, when you actually put into action what you have learnt, is ABSOLUTE POWER and is unstoppable! 

I work from home and have my own online busines. I decided a couple of years ago I was going to stop working all the time to simply make other people wealthy and that I would do it for myself. 

I believed that the working for someone else wasn’t “security” at all, it was the complete opposite. You only have to look at what is going on today to realise that. Best decision I ever made.  

This “go get a good job and you’ll be happy and secure” stuff that is constantly beaten into us from a very early age is, excuse me for saying, a complete load of crap!  Just ask any one of the thousands upon thousands who thought they had a good secure job who are being laid off at the moment and see what they have to say about it.

I believe there are four types of people out there, in this world.  There are people who are Employees, those that are Self-Employed, those that are Business Owners and finally those that are Investors.  Now I could go on to explain what those four groups are and what they mean, but I think it would be a whole lot easier for you to watch and listen to the guy who actually came up with this concept which is called The Cashflow Quadrant.  Who may have already heard of this and heard of Robert Kiyosaki, even so, watch this video, especially if you are, or were until you got laid off, an employee.  I think you’ll find it an eye opener!

Still think you’re secure working for someone else?  Well, that’s why I’m building this and many other sites online.  I want to help as many people as possible make the same discovery I made and make that quantum leap, that paradigm shift, in their thinking that if you continue to tread the 9 – 5 path exchanging your time and effort for a set salary every month, you are not secure, you are not in control, you are at the mercy of factors totally out of your control and one day, almost inevitably, they are going to turn around and bite you.

So, take a look around the site, at some of the articles, at the reviews I’ve written, at the resources and sites I’ve got listed, especially Global Online Masterminds.  As I write this the site is still very new but new information, advice, training even will be posted here on a continual basis and I hope that, in whatever small way, I can help you fulfil whatever it is you are wanting to succeed in online and hopefully we’ll get a chance to chat sometime.
